Carmel Community
The community of Carmel has for a long time sustained a stereotype of privilege. People have thought that youth especially here are completely surrounded in pleasure. From nice clothes, to expensive parties, it has been long assumed that they are protected deeply in "the Carmel bubble". Crime rates are low, employment is high, the bubble is insurmountable...or so it seems. For a seemingly incorrigible amount of youth between ages 3 and 17, this rule does not apply. Not only do they pursue through a tough home life, but they also have to endure this with the "bubble" hanging over their head. This unfair stereotype does not apply to them, but they are already categorized despite their struggles. The Carmel Youth Assistance aims to change this.
